Over the past few months, PetzMD key staff and developers spent countless hours designing and developing the FIND-A-VET component. The result is a fully functional feature that allows pet owners to search in their city or zip code for specifics such as 24 hour emergency care, boarding, grooming, AAHA accredited facilities and a host of other services offered by pet professionals in their immediate area. Consequently, pet owners have more options. For example, consumers who have exotic pets can search for the nearest Vet or clinic that specializes or has experience with exotic animals; owners needing emergency care can find the nearest facility that routinely handles those cases. PetzMD's FIND-A-VET feature gives pet owners better tools for finding the right pet professional to fit their needs while providing a platform for Veterinarians to showcase their clinics and specialties directly to local consumers.
